March Movie Night

Our first Bloom RVA March Movie Night was an exhale at the end of the week, because Black women are no longer waiting to do that.

For too long, we’ve been overworked, under-appreciated, and rarely given space just for ourselves. But in 2025, that changes. Many of us—now referring to ourselves as the 92%—know how to come together, but we’re also learning, in real time, that it’s not our job to rescue what doesn’t want saving.

So now, we pause.

For a movie night.
For time spent with each other, letting the love soak in.

And we’re just getting started.
