Inaugural Meet-Up: Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

Our very first Bloom RVA meetup at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts was a success, with 22 amazing women showing up to connect and bloom together. This amazing group spanned a wide age range, and we talked about everything from our favorite art pieces at the VMFA to relationships, the ups and downs of adulting, and even swapped travel stories that inspired laughter and wanderlust.

Initially, we planned to break into smaller groups, but something special happened—everyone stayed together. It was truly beautiful to see how much everyone wanted to get to know everyone, which really gave a sense of community and connection.

We also broached ideas for future events that I can’t wait to get off the ground. There is so much beauty in creative collaboration. Overall, we were most excited for what’s to come this year and to see how connections will grow amongst members of the group. My hope is that every woman who joined us felt truly seen, valued, and like they were part of something meaningful.

This is just the beginning, and if this event is any indication, Bloom RVA is going to be something truly special. Thank you to everyone who made our first meetup unforgettable!
