Evening Flow with Bloom RVA: A Yoga Class

This all-levels yoga class with Bloom RVA member Ssanyu Brooks of SunnyBrooks Yoga will be a chance to slow down, stretch, and reconnect with yourself in a welcoming space. This class is designed to help you feel restored and refreshed.

Tips for a Great Yoga Session

  1. Arrive Early– Give yourself time to settle in and find your space.

  2. Stay Hydrated– Drink water before and after class to keep your body refreshed. Feel free to bring a refillable water bottle.

  3. Dress Comfortably– Wear clothes that allow you to move freely.

  4. Bring Your Own Mat (if you can)– Your own mat may be more comfortable for you. Also consider bringing yoga blocks or anything that will aid in your practice.

  5. Breathe & Be Present – Focus on your breath and let go of stress.

  6. Listen to Your Body – Modify poses as needed—this is your practice.
